I agree, e.g. the global search indexer in N9 ate up a lot of resources resulting a remarkable battery drain. Though searching in the e-mail app would be a must!

I hate to be sarcastic about it but it looks like that people at Jolla do not require email search for their phones and so, its not yet implemented. I wonder why such an important feature for an email...
